Graduated of the Law School from the Universidad Autónoma de Nuevo León in 2010, studied the Master in Constitutional Procedural Law in 2013 at the same university, he has studied various specialization courses, including an International Seminar of Constitutional Courts (University of Siena, Italy 2016), as well as courses on Legal Argumentation (Instituto Tecnológico Autónomo de México, 2013), Human Rights (Pompeu Fabra University, Spain 2013) and several seminars and workshops on electoral matters.

Member and Coordinator of the Nuevo León´s Chapter Civil Law Commission of the Mexican Bar Association. He has been a speaker at several Judgment Writing Workshops given to jurisdictional bodies and Electoral Institutes of various States of Mexico.

Experience

Before joining the firm, Mr. Marroquín Mitre was part for 6 years of the litigation practice of a Transnational law firm. He also worked in the Federal Judicial Branch for more than 7 years, as a Law Clerk in The Supreme Chamber of the Electoral Tribunal of Justice of the Mexican Federation and in the Monterrey´s Regional Chamber of said Electoral Court. In 2017, he was invited to work as a Professional Visitor in the Inter-American Court of Human Rights in San José Costa Rica.
